He has authored a printed booklet for newly diagnosed diabetics and is currently writing his first book about working on the front lines of the diabetes epidemic. He is the owner of Irish Diabetes Consulting, LLC. A believer in practicing what he preaches, he has run 8 marathons (Boston twice) and is now taking up triathlons. He lives with his wife and children in the quiet western Maine town of Norway.
